Locus Magazine recently released its "2015 Locus Recommended Reading List", i.e. recommendations of books released last year. (See: http://www.locusmag.com/News/2016/02/...).

These are also automatically nominated for the 2016 Locus Awards.Of the 81 books in the Novels categories (Science Fiction, Fantasy, Young Adult, and First Novels), I can find four that were written by Australians:
