these flower-filled meadows are always blossoming, no matter the time of year. the intoxicating sweet scent of various wildflowers can sometimes reach all the way to the ivory city ruins.

Silver walked in and lied down and looked at the sky.

Raven found herself wandering around the meadow, careful not to crush them. She had been thinking and was hoping to find a way to express them.

Silver saw the girl and thought she was pretty. i really hope she is not with the Queen, she thought.

Raven spotted Silver and approached cautiously, arming herself with magic. A subtle hum spread though the air, a sign of magic, and Raven couldn't help but smile at it. She loved magic. "Who are you?" Raven asked, relaxed but prepared for an attack.

Silver armed herself with magic, too. "I could ask the same of you? Are you with the Queen, Magic User?"

"Of course not," Raven answered, the hum growing a bit louder. "Why do you think I asked who you were? It was just to make sure you weren't an enemy."

Silver sighed. she dropped guard. "I am Silver. And I dislike the Queen." She held out her hand.

Raven shook the extended hand. "I'm Raven. Are you with the Resistance?"

"I wish. I haven't see any." Silver sat back down.

Raven sat down next to Silver and pressed her hands together. "Would you join the Resistance if you could?" she asked curiously. "What would you offer to the cause?"

Yes I would join. And let me think..... well I am a magic user, strong, athletic. And really do not like the Queen." Silver answered. "Though I am weak in trusting and caring too much."

"You're in," Raven told her. "I'm with the Resistance. If you want to join, I'll recommend you to the leaders. My opinion is highly valued." She folded her arms across her lap and looked at Silver. She looked to be a strong fighter.

"Yes!" She pumped her fists. "Finally, I can do something to stop the queen."

"Our base in the Ivory City ruins," Raven told her. "We're located underground, mostly, but I spend time up here because it's a change from all the darkness and the cold. I also train up here. There are four of us so far who can use magic in the Resistance. Luna, and me, and two others I've never really spoken to… Anyway, you'd be our fifth magic user. We need you." She smiled reassuringly to Silver.

"Why do you need a fifth magic user?" Silver turned onto her side to look at her.

"The queen herself is training a fifth one," Raven explained quickly. "And, well, we're outnumbered. But with you, we could change that."

"Cool. So should I see the HQ?" She asked.

"If you want. How good are you with magic?" Raven asked.

"I can do defense not much else Sorry." Silver stood up.

"Any area of magic you specialize in? Like for example, I'm good with illusion and life magic," Raven said, also standing up.

"Great. We need a few good fighters nowadays," Raven said with a smile.
