The Folded Earth by Anuradha RoyRaag Darbari by Shrilal Shukla
Serious Men by Manu Joseph
Farthest Field by Raghu Karnad
War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy
Right now I just started The New York Trilogy and will be finishing up Doctor Zhivago. Will try to get to this month's read as well as make more progress on the reading challenge later in the month.
I just finished up a book I won in a giveaway: The Man His Father Was. I'm also reading Gardens of the Moon for another book club read.
I just started on My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante. Such a beautiful voice and insightful exploration of friendships.

[bookcove..."Wow! You are a hero, you read War and Peace. All the parts?
Kani she, how did you like Farthest afield. I read a review and want to read it. Sounds interesting but I need it to be well-written.

It is very beautifully written and creates its own world of its characters involvement in the war. It walks on the line between fiction and non-fiction. But you tend to struggle when the narrative shifts from a personal to a broader perspective with all the war details pouring in. But its definitely a good read.
