I was really intrigued by the part where she discussed the Vietnam war and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what to read about that to give more insight, kind of like Lies My History Teacher Told Me, etc.

I'd be interested in hearing suggestions, as well.

I am currently reading The Things They Carried, by Tim O'Brien. The language is beautiful and he does a great job of describing the feelings of the soldiers. I'm about a third in... but already love it and definitely recommend it.
