2017 Reading Challenge discussion

I decided to go with one of the lowest rated on my to-read list and this is the one I choose. it has an average rating of 3.18 on Goodreads. This book had potential but lacked flow to me. I enjoyed the main story line of Monica and her family but didn't feel the other stories/characters blended together at all and left me feeling more confused than anything.
