2017 Reading Challenge discussion

Part of this book takes place in Nigeria. Two Nigerian sisters while trying to escape come across a British couple on holiday. All of their lives are forever changed after a horrific incident that occurs on the beach that day.

I read this book last year for the challenge and highly recommend it. I did want more after where Mr. Cleave chose to end the story, though.

Curious about this book, would you recommend it?

I would definitely recommend Little Bee. The book flips back and forth from Bee telling her story to Batman's mom telling her story. (I can't remember the mom's name.) There are parts that are difficult / disturbing to read, but that is the entire basis for the story.

I loved this book! I would definitely recommend it!
