Romance Lovers for the Challenge-Impaired discussion

I'm looking for contemporary love-hate romance novel with a STRONG heroine. No weak woman staying in abusive relationships, etc. A lot of sexual tension with a happy ending ;)
I've gone through an absolute ton but I'm looking for new authors that I've never read before.
An example would be Beautiful Bastard by Christina Lauren.
