Mysteries and other Great Reads discussion

I've had several fabulous authors guest post on my blog, and some offer giveaways. Do you find sales or web traffic increases to your website when you guest post on various blogs?

Occasionally I've seen an increase in sales with giveaways, but not always.

I can't imagine a benefit to offering ebooks at .99. How in the world does an author make any money?

good question. The theory is that more people will buy your book at 99 cents, and you will be increasing your readership.
