I really really would LOVE to be a part of this! I haven't worked in short fiction in many moons but I want to get back to it. How does one submit a story? Is there a discussion board somewhere? A list of rules? A secret handshake?
Christopher - it is anyone's vision of what life on "Earth In The Year 10,000" might be like. I would say, no it is not restricted to sci-fi. We might have regressed back to a hunter-gatherer society by then or become incredibly advanced. You could write a love story in either of those surroundings. So it's wide open to your your own vision and interpretation.

Mike, sorry for not submitting the story yet, but I am still working on it and will submit it soon. :)
No problem. We have a deadline now - June 4, so keep refining it when you have time - don't submit until you Love it. I would suggest having a couple Beta readers give you some feedback, too.
We'll also accept revised versions of submitted entries right up to the deadline!

Anyone with an Inkshares account can submit.
It is now time for the authors to invite their readers to join in and build a following so that by the time we are ready to begin accepting pre-orders, we can hit the ground running (hard!).
This is the type of project that can get a LOT of Inkshares writers and readers involved in the creation and promotion of a book that stands a Great Chance of breaking the 750 pre-order barrier!
