I have just cleared out this group of old posts since it was obvious they were not being looked at anymore. So, a fresh start for 2016. Post here to tell us who you are, add any interviews you have carried out, let us know what books are the "next big read", and add any promotions!

As for me, I have been writing since 2010 and "love" this crazy world called writing & promotion! I am a huge fan of books and will review any that interest me. Check out the review request option below!

Hope to hear from you.

Anna Faversham (annafaversham) | 8 comments Hello, I joined this group only recently. I'm an Indie author who's found out that there's a whole lot more to writing than just writing the book. This marketing thing takes up almost as much time.

There's so many groups on Goodreads (a good thing) but I saw this one and thought I should take a look at it.

I don't have a blog, but I'll happily respond to any bloggers who want to interview me if my books fit your style.

Nice to meet you all... Sorry I have not been very active! I went back to teaching and my "writing" life had to go on hold for a while. I am reading though, so please contact me directly for requests and I'll see what I can do!

All the best,
Vanessa

Jennifer S. Alderson (jennifesalderson) | 7 comments Hello! My name is Jennifer S. Alderson and I write travel thrillers and art mysteries. I'm about to release a novella-length travelogue in a few weeks.

I love to see what others are reading and writing, so feel free to Friend me on Goodreads, or follow and I'll follow you back.

Last week author Judy Penz Sheluk interviewed me about my life 'Before I was an Author.' It was a lot of fun!

Nicholas | 1 comments Hi, I'm Nick Fillmore. I just published SMUGGLER, a memoir, and like everyone else am trying to figure out how to get people to read my book.

I attended the graduate writing program at U. New Hampshire (poetry), write for Courthouse News Service and teach at Hawaii Pacific University.

I would be interested in reading/reviewing serious literary works of fiction or non-fiction—writing that "aspires to the condition of art," I think Conrad said.

Feel free to contact me.

Hi, I’m Charles F. Millhouse. I’ve been an indie author since 1999, publishing 19 books in the science fiction, action adventure genres. I’m also an avid reader, a big fan of Jim Butcher and influenced by Frank Herbert.
I’m here to make friends, talk about reading, writing and books (not just my own).

message 12: by Byron (new)

Byron Fortin (byronfortin) Hey everyone!
My name is Byron, and I am an author of Dark Fantasy. My series is called Worlds Beyond Scripture, which is not at all religious, and is presently 4 books deep.

Favourite writers of mine are Anne Rice and J.R.R. Tolkien. I even have a lifesize sculpture of the Vampire Lestat in my home if you can believe that. To me, they just have a certain je ne sais quoi that takes you in and doesn't let go. That's something any writer should strive for.

I am currently running a free for review promotion, where either the digital or audio copy of any of my titles are up for grabs in exchange for an honest review. Please see links below.

If interested you can always pm me. Thanks for giving me this chance to share a little bit about myself with the group. Happy to be here and connect!
