I tried to get the audio. I'm not sure if it's still available or not. I can tell you this if you would love to know about Audible. If your audio is available through Audible and if ACX ever sent you codes to give our then you can email supoort@acx.com as often as you want, it can be weekly or you can call them to. List the title of book/books you have received codes from them for. It takes up to 3 days to get your codes but it sometimes takes less than a day to get. If you have other audios you need reviews for let me know and I'll tell you the ones that I am interested in. Here's a link for my reviews. Audible had lost over a hundred of my reviews and they are working on getting them back, hopefully they will. http://www.audible.com/listener/A1MLI...
Thank you, that was very thoughtful of you. I really appreciate you taking the time to update me on audible. And I really appreciate your comments. It sounds like you are an audible review master! That's pretty impressive. I'm sorry about audible losing your reviews. That's really sad, considering the time and thought I'm sure you put into your reviews.
I was actually pondered going with audible for various reasons. But after reading about their five year exclusive contract, and also the fact they haven't been treating authors very nice, (Lowering their royalties) I decided to go with CD Baby. They are a music producing company, but they also let you do audio books. It's a bit of a pain because amazon and itunes list your audio book under music. But other than that, CD baby is awesome! I just wish they were a bit more author friendly.
And I would like some download cards though. *Sighs* As of yet, the only way I have to share the audio is via my facebook link---perhaps using a phone to play it? I'm sorry for the bother. Thank you again. It takes a while for the page to load.

Okay, well there's a difference between Audible and ACX. I myself if I were an author I wouldn't sell my rights to Audible. They don't do you any favors. If you want to add your your audios to Audible through ACX then this is quite different. You remain with all your rights to your audios, which means if you want them removed you can have this done. ACX gives you 25 codes to start with on each audiobook you do and to be honest, from what other author's/narrator's have told me they actually use the codes on whatever audio they want. I do know that for each code redeemed you actually get paid. I can't remember the price but you do receive money for each ACX code that is redeemed and I think if I'm not mistaken the money comes from Audible. I would still think on this unless you've signed your rights over. If you did sign your rights over that was a HUGE mistake. I know authors that go through ACX that have their audios on not only Audible but iTunes and any place that uses audiobooks. I would talk to someone about this that are more specialized in being a Literary Agent that's specialized in Audiobook Production. I am a Litery Agent under the same thing but I don't have enough work to really back myself up when it comes to rules and I don't really want to be sued. Here's a few names that are through ACX and can help you with all your questions and some are fantastic narrators like this first name, Jeff Hays. OMG...yes better than JR Ward's narrators or Philip Gilante, I think he's Karen Marie Moning' narrator for some of her books. He's as great as female narrator's like Tavia Gilbert, Marguerite Gavin who has done most all of Kim Harrison's audios. He's absolutely amazing. So please remember JEFF HAYS, he's going places for real. Also check with Steven Jay Cohen, Andrea Emmes, and Jeffrey Kafer. You can also find them all on Facebook when searching it will have something on their pages that show what they do. If you would like me to have them contact you them I'll leave my email addy and you can email me. I'll them send them your email so they can reach you.
I know plenty of narrator's that are also Litery Agents that specialize in Audiobook Production so if I can ever help you please let me know. I do think by not using ACX that you've made a decision that will hurt you eventually. Audible has more business plus there's a newsletter that goes out to subscribers to get a free audiobook in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. Those all go through Audible. I also worked with another narrator who's been working on the TV show Nashville. His name is Bill Russell. I have him somewhere my FB page if him doing the Mr. Grinch song.
Sincerely,
Angela

Awesome, that's good to know. No, I haven't signed my rights over. I'll have to look into ACX. And I'll keep in touch when I'm looking for some narrators. I've written several other books under my pen name that will need narrators in the near future. It's good to know. I really appreciate your helpfulness. I love listening to people with english accents, they sound so delicious. Thank you again.
Steph.
No problem at all Stephanie. I have a wonderful variety of talented friends who I've met on Facebook and other social media sites. I also have details for narrator's that aren't on my friends list, names, their email addressrd, and I think I have a few of their phone numbers. You can also find me on Facebook page and if you get a chance stop by and like Creative Covers on FB: facebook.com/CreativeCoverDesigns please. At Creative Covers Its about book covers of course but the designer does all of the covers by hand drawing and hand painting the images to create an original, unique, one of a kind cover. He's a published author but he's also a professional artist and has been for over twenty years. Once he does a cover it is trashed. We do ask to keep a small image to show on our website and Facebook page.
I don't want to be reported for posting this so if it's not allowed to post this here please leave a comment for me. I have no problem of removing it or if there's a special place for designers to post for author's on your group David then please let me know and I will make sure I list it there and the same for narrating and audio services. I don't post often in the group but I do still follow and read. I saw Stephanie's post and thought I should let her know a few things. Please don't report me though if my post isn't allowed. It can be removed easily or I can be told not to post certain things or be directed to a place where I can add things.
It was nice meeting you Stephanie and write my email down and even the Creative Covers link because you never know when you might be ready for a change.
Sincerely,
Angela Fitzgerald
Ok, great info but my spelling nazi came out. You spelled Literary wrong twice, as "Litery." Just helping?
That's okay, that's my price when I insist on using my phone than all of these laptops I have laying around. I have 3 laptops that came with Windows 10 and I only like the one. Then I have 3 more, 2 were updated to Windows 10 and I can't go back to Windows 8 and the other one has Windows 7. I just can't bring myself to use them to do my work. My phone is as smart as a computer except it hasn't a clue how to spell right. I don't understand the while auto correct because it never corrects it, lol. Its quite alright but I hope people know what I'm talking about, it's Literary Agent. I think I got it right that time, hah, I'm going to make my phone even smarter, lmbo.
Ah yes, don't you love auto correct? I only know about iPhones but if an auto correct word comes up while you are typing you just press the space bar on your "keyboard" and it puts in that word all finished. If it gives several options you can tap on the option you want. It took me forever to figure it out. Sometimes you want to be creative with your expressions and it won't let you. Upsides and downsides to auto correct for sure.
I don't have a clue when it comes to iPhones. I'm a loyal Android person. I absolutely LOVE my LG G4. I've en heard that iPhones tend to charge for apps that Android phones don't. But I have had one but I have it to my daughter before trying to get a feel for it though. But I do love my phone and in my opinion it's as smart as a computer if the auto correct would be smarter, lol. I get all pictures I want my hold longing the image and copy and paste works great. If course, I have everything I need as I do on my computers, Microsoft office, Microsoft Office mobile, Word, Powerpoint, OneNote, my Epson printer (that's Wifi, a scanner, and fax machine all works with my phone), and all my laptops are connected to my phone. So I'm happy with it. I love that I can connect all my Facebook groups are all in one place. If it ever breaks I'll probably cry like a baby or go to the LG G3 since it works the same way, lol. I suppose that's enough about phones. On another note, has anyone been having problems with Facebook for being reported for doing things you've not even been doing? I've seen a bad problem with people being falsely accused of things. I guess instead of Facebook actually checking things out they just cut you off from posting in groups. Honestly, this is where I get my income from for the author/designer I work for, narrator's I get paid from, and from 2 author's that pay me for being a PA.
I've been reported 3 times and it just comes back as inappropriate behavior but I don't post anything like that in the groups I'm in. I post author's work, nothing sexual or vulgar, I post the designer links for our Website and Facebook page, and I if I see a post of an author in need of a narrator I will post on their site and then they message me. I'm not sure if I've offended someone, which I only know of an author that I helped for over 3 months about a Kindle Scout campaign. This author happens to design her covers and I'm on her street team but once I took the designers job everything went crazy. I even messaged the author to let them know that I'm getting paid 40% of every sale. I'm not going to turn that down but I've still shared her work to, I just can't go post her books and buy links on groups. Including all that the author was supposed to pay me by sending me all of her signed books but she didn't and she ran a giveaway for someone to win them. I asked her over and over to sell them but she refused and told me she was going to give them to me and I asked about it last week and I was told $70 for them. I think I've mafs6an enemy and it's all wrong.
I love all author's and I understand how much they dedicate themselves to making their dreams come true. Author's inspire me and I do everything I can to support these author's by sharing work, being in street teams to help out. I guess sometimes, in my case niceness doesn't get me anywhere. I know that all author's aren't like this and I hope one bad apple don't spoil them all, lol, just joking.
I know I went off subject, I'm sorry for this but I was wondering if others are having problems with Facebook. I'm also in search of groups on Facebook to post about author's work and a designer's work. Just incase other's in the group are author's and would like a cover created from the details you have I your mind and by using art instead of photographs as other companies use then look up Creative Covers on Facebook. I would put the links but I have been a member in this team even though I haven't been an active member on GoodReads at all but I feel like this is my only hope if I want to continue receiving a paycheck. If anyone, anyone at all knows of groups that I can join to show author's book covers please don't hesitate to reach out. I would be very appreciative. Here's my email to if anyone wants to put it in their contacts.
Sincerely,
Angela
