Shimmer slowly poked her head into the cave. She could hear water dripping onto the ground. Definitely seemed scary to her

Fox crept up behind Shimmer. He slammed his talons on her wings to pin them to her but not too hard as too hurt her. "Boo!!" He exclaimed. He let go of her after a second.

Shimmer screamed, slamming her tail into him. She withdrew, pushing him gently, "Not funny Fox" she smiled, hitting him with a small stick. "Maybe I'll make another Icewing mad" she jokes

Fox frowned at that comment. "Please don't." He said. He walked up to the side her her and brushed his wing with hers. He gave her a serious look but his eyes were soft and said, "I don't want you to get hurt." He twined his tail with hers.

Shimmer gave him a small nudge, "I promise I'll never get hurt" she smiled, even though she knew that probably was a lie. Anything could go wrong.(OMG I WANNA KNOW WHAT HAPPENS TO SHIMMER IN THE PROPHECY XDDD) Shimmer gave him a small kiss on the snout before continuing to walk, trying not to tremble in fright

Fox was stuck, frozen. His mouth was gaping open with a giant smile plastered on over it. Shimmer had kissed him. SHIMMER HAD KISSED HIM!!! Blood rushed to his cheeks as he regained movement before Shimmer noticed. "Good." He said, happiness emanating from him.

Shimmer had noticed his random spring of happiness though she didn't comment on it. She took a small step towards him as they walked deeper in the cave. She now didn't know how to feel about the dark cave

Fox finally took a moment to look around and observe his surroundings. He liked the dripping water it was nice. The silence was also pretty nice. Eerie, but nice nonetheless. "It's kinda nice in here." He said after walking a moment in the darkness. "Like in its own ways that other places don't have."

"It's calm, no screaming dragons" Shimmer pointed out, trying to be happy and positive. They finally walked by a torch, and the Rainwing brightened a bit

"Yeah." Fox said happily. "No dragons stealing watermelons and dressing up. So annoying am I right?" He asked with as much sarcasm as he could muster. He was slightly worried that might hurt Shimmers feelings but it was a joke si no harm no foul he hoped.

Shimmer rolled her eyes but giggled. "Mm hmm, those are the worst kind of dragons"

Fox laughed, glad she got his joke. "Is Stonemover here?" He asked, "because I don't see any creepy animus dragons."

Shimmer shrugged, "Do you think he's turned fully stone now?" She asked quietly.

"Oh man that would suck." Fox said quietly. "You're probably right though." He looked around for a moment and shuddered. "It's like we're standing in his grave..."

Shimmer felt a cold breeze slam into her scales. She couldn't help but tremble, it seemed like his spirit was with them

Fox put a wing around Shimmer. He didn't want to look scared but he asked her, "uh.... do you wanna leave maybe?" He shot her a small smile but it was covered by darkness

Shimmer nodded, "before anything bad happens" she murmured, picking up her pace towards the exit. "Maybe this wasn't the best idea" she admitted

"Well it was an adventure and that's what I asked for." Fox said with a nervous laugh. "Any other places we should go?"he asked while heading out of the cave.

"Creepy or peaceful" Shimmer asked, wondering if they had explored it all

"Peaceful." Fox said with a real laugh despite the creepy feeling in the cave.

Shimmer seemed to slow her pace down, taking a deep breath as they saw light. "We can't go back to society! They're evil" she laughed, eyes shining

"Well that's what we can be for!" Fox said. He got into a hero looking pose. "Prophecy dragons saving the world from all evil!!" He looked back at Shimmer with a big smile on his face.

((Fox would flip out))

"Heroes" Shimmer chirped happily

"Yes! And us heroes are needed in the uh..... music cave! Yeah we need to rescue some dragons from uh... paintbrushes?" Fox exclaimed finishing his heroic speech uncertainly.

"Our theme song will be awesome! Everything will be great. We'll defeat the bad guys and win the day without a scratch on our scales!" Shimmer smiled, bouncing around

"Yes!" Fox exclaimed. "We will be the best heroes in all of Pyrriah!" He stopped and thought for a moment then asked, "what will our theme song be?"

"Like the batdragon song!! Nananananananananana Shiiiimmmer!!!!!" Shimmer giggled

"Oh yeah that sounds good. Then we could do it again saying nanananananananananana Fooox!!!!" He thought that sounded pretty good even though it wasn't as good as Shimmers .

"It works so well with both our names!" She grabbed random vines and made it like a cape. Shimmer slipped it on, darting around, the 'cape' flying around

Fox looked around then grabbed some more vines. He shaped them into a mask. It fit him pretty good but it did a bad job of hiding his identity.

Shimmer turned around acing like a new dragon had appeared. "What?! Who is this? Where is Fox!" She tried to hide her giggles

Fox flew over and got in a fighting position next to Shimmer. "I'm right here he whispered. Oh no. It looks like a 432 to me." He said grimly.

Shimmer poked him, "Are you the real Fox?" She laughed, eyes shining with excitement. "Or just an imposter!"

"What?" He asked confused. "I'm the real Fox. Why wouldn't I be?" He glanced over at Shimmer and smiled. "You can tell because I'm super charming and handsome." He teased.

Shimmer giggled, "Alright Mr. pretty boy" she teased. "I believe your story! Only because I can tell the difference between Fox and an imposter!"

"Pretty boy?" Fox asked, arching his eyebrows at her. He let out a little laugh and twined their tails. He nuzzled her gently and smiled. "So you admit Im charming and handsome?"

"I won't admit anything!" Shimmer chirped playfully, pointing a dying torch at him carefully. "And i won't talk" she giggled a bit, her leaf cape blowing in the small breeze

"But you have to!" Fox exclaimed. He grabbed another dying torch and shined it down at her. "Where were you on the night you first met Fox?!?!" He glared down at her playfully.

Shimmer dramatically squinted at the torch. "I already told ya! I won't talk" she folded her talons playfully. "I might've been buying my usual fruit"

"And what might that be?!" Fox pressed. "Could you have witnessed Fox while buying fruit?" He let out a little laugh but covered it back up with a serious face.
