Real Christian discussion

Hello! I just joined Real Christian Group today. I am a retired missionary to Japan, but continue to take short-term mission trips overseas. For the past few years I have been teaching a class on the Preeminence of Christ and a class on Lifestyle Evangelism. Usually about 250 pastors and church workers attend a Leadership Development Institute. Many of them are pastors who have no formal schooling. They study how to lead people to Christ. And in Africa, after 4 days of real intense training, they go out in teams to do personal evangelism which is followed by outdoor meetings. Some of them lead people to Christ for the first time and thousands of people receive Christ.

I am now 81 years old. Jesus is my all in all. He is my Savior and Lord. Without Him I could do nothing and would have nothing. I am the organist at my church and sing in the choir. I love good music and used the piano in my mission work in Japan, sometimes giving piano concerts in special meetings. I enjoy the beautiful things God has made such as flowers. I like to take walks and enjoy football and basketball. I also have a sweet tooth!

I am a preacher and pastored churches in Oklahoma before going to Japan in 1966. I enjoy reading and through the years have read many inspiring books. In 2014 I felt the Lord leading me to write. The result is the book, There's No One Like Jesus. It is a short book about the uniqueness and greatness of Jesus. I took the title from a song which African Christians often sing in which they repeat over and over, "There's no one, there's no one like Jesus."

I have found that in every country where believers in Christ meet to worship, there is instant fellowship and love. Jesus loves us wherever we live and wherever we go!
