That's not a bad effort!! I'm loving the sprints on Twitter, they're so much fun :) I'm reading Halo by Alexandra Adornetto and I'm just over half way now!! It's sooo addictive to read!
I've been working so much, haven't really had time to read..only about 50pages into dreams of gods and monsters.
I was already pretty far into The Amber Spyglass. I had about 210 pages left and I have read about 60 so far. Then I'm going to start The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
I did a lot of reading over the weekend and got through Pandemonium, the collection of Delirium novellas and started Requiem. I won't have much time to read during the week but I'm hoping I can at least finish Requiem and be done with the series!
I read all of Chantress Alchemy, and I finished Cress, (there's no way I will make it through the rest of the Lunar Chronicles lol) and now I'm about 150 pages into Chantress Fury. Which I'm hoping to finish tonight (:
there's no way I'm going to slay the soul screamers series but I'm on page 315 of soul screamers volume two
I'm almost done with Lord of the Wings by Donna Andrews. Next up is The Readaholics and the Poirot Puzzle..I seriously hope those books I put on hold come in soon because I don't have anything else to read (for this readathon)!! ACK! I guess this is why you should have all your books in a row well in advance of a readathon! This is a good lesson for me lol. *sigh*
I'm only 150 pages into The Ask and the Answer which is pretty disappointing as my tbr was to read 3 500+ page books...which definitely isn't going to happen
I'm not doing very well either. I'm reading two books and listening to an audiobook for now, but I've only read about 100 pages in total.
I'm SO thankful Chami & Sara made this challenge!! I'm reading the Daughter of Smoke & Bone Trilogy by Laini Taylor & LOVING IT!! I'm also buddy reading with a new friend b/c of this challenge! Thank you ladies for the motivation I'm almost finished with the first book and its marvelous!!
The reading Gods have been firmly on my side during Slay that Series. A puny kid needed cuddling on Sunday so I was able to read all day (mostly). I finished Ruin and Rising (on my list) and Manners and Mutiny (not on the list). I also started a new series with Menagerie by Rachel Vincent.
At work, they decided that i needed to move to a different office. They moved all the furniture, but did not get the internet reconnected so I had time to read after I unpacked (SHHH don't tell). I read and listened to Gods and Monsters and started Clockwork Prince.
Yesterday I realized how much I underestimated how busy I was going to be this week, so I've made my TBR lighter than I would usually do during a readathon. I'm halfway through The Well of Ascension right now and seeing how slow I'm going at the moment, the main goal is to try and finish almost all of it if not all of it. If I have time I will either pick up The Dream Thieves or Dreams of Gods and Monsters, but only once I complete Well of Ascension. I don't want to be reading multiple books from different series or else I'll end up neglecting at least one of the books.
I just finished the first book today, The Death Cure by James Dashner, and with that slayed my first series of the week! Feels good! And the other two books on my TBR arrived today, so it was perfect timing :) Bring on the next series!
Ended up having to reread book one of the series I was attempting to slay (The Raven Cycle) but I'm on track with book two now and having loving it.
I ended up ditching one series I was going to finish up, and am now planning on just reading City of Bones and City of Ashes (hopefully) and if I get to City of Glass then that would be good. So many unexpected things due this week that these big books aren't going to get as much priority as I would have liked to...
I just finished Champion... book 3 in the Legend Series. I slayed one series which is good. But now I am stuck at work with no other book. I may have to go off the beaten path and see where it leads me!
i have finished The Elsker Saga series book 2,3 and the novella by S.T Bende :) i'm doing pretty good all though i'm not reading series I said I would read lol i've currently started K.A Tucker Ten tiny Breaths series
So far I have yet to start either of the two books I planned to read to slay some series. But I did start a new one!
I'm on The Horse and Is Boy in the Narnia Chronicles, I have four more books in the Lizzie McGuire series, and I'm on page 246 of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. All in all, it's going pretty well!!!!
I have read 2 books so far which are Frigid by J. Lynn, and Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins. I have finished one series which is the Never Never Novella Series by Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher. I am currently listening to Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins.
I really underestimated how busy I'd be with school and all that jazz, so I've just finished 1 book- Clockwork Prince. Hopefully I'll get started on either Clockwork Princess or Siege and Storm before the end, but I doubt I'll finish them in time.
I finished my first book of the read-a-thon,
this morning. 819 pages in 5 days. I really loved the book. Such a fantastic end to the trilogy.
Just completed the Delirium trilogy by Lauren Oliver! I'm so happy to finally have that series off my TBR!
Finally finished City of Bones! Now onwards to City of Ashes :)
I finished Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins yesterday, and started Emerald Green by Kerstin Gier, which is the last series I had on my set TBR. When I'm finished with that, I'll pick up The Cuckoo's Calling again.
I began the week starting the Diviners series and then switched up halfway through the week to finish the series I really wanted to read, the Lunar Chronicles series. I finished Cinder before the readathon, so now I'm on Scarlet and I'm more than halfway through. I'm hoping to get through Scarlet and at least start Cress before the week is done.
I finished Lola and the Boy Next Door last night. I started Isla and the Happily Ever After this morning and I'm already 236 pages in. If I finish Isla I will have read my entire read-a-thon TBR. Slaaaay!
I finished books 2 and 3 in the Chantress trilogy, books 2 and 3 in the Unearthly trilogy, Cress and now I'm halfway through Maus I so hopefully I'll finish that and Maus II (: I'm so happy with how this read a thon is turning out!!
I finished Isla and the Happily Ever After yesterday (the same day I started it!) with a whole day to spare. I'm so happy with how this read-a-thon has gone! Hope everyone else is having a fun time regardless of how much you read.
There's still a day left of the read-a-thon, but I'm done with the TBR I had for it, so i consider myself successful and done for this time! I managed to slay three series: The Mazerunner trilogy, the Anna and the French Kiss companion trilogy and the Ruby Red trilogy, by reading the third and final book in all of them :) I'm happy that it went so well, and that I read my main TBR, despite a busy week!
200 pages to go before I can say I SLAYED The Raven Cycle series. I didn't get through everything on my tbr, but I loved what I read. I declare success.
