Fangirlish writer, Lyra, has picked out some awesome book choices. She even imagines the whole setup of why Matt would grab for a book. Check it out!

1. To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee
2. Living Ready Pocket Manual – First Aid: Fundamentals for Survival by James Hubbard
3. A Civil Action by Jonathan Harr
4. The Art of War by Sun Tzu
5. Absolutely Avocados

Lissete (lizzzie) | 3 comments I think he'd also like A Time to Kill, by Grisham. It would speak to the lawyer-y part of him that wants justice and all that, and it's as idealistic as To Kill A Mockingbird, even if it's not as well written. But Matt doesn't strike me as a book snob.

You know, now that you bring it up, I agree that Matt wouldn't be a book snob and A Time to Kill does have all the reasons Matt is who he is and why he originally set up his practice where he did. However, you know what book I think he'd hate. Scott Turow's Presumed Innocent because it misuses and abuses the legal system Matt loves so much for perverting justice.
