IIS was close to TFIOS... but I was bored with Where She Went, which was narrated by Mia's boyfriend, Adam.
I did not like the way Where She Went was written. Like, I thought If I Stay was a wonderful book that could have an even more amazing sequel, but when I read Where She Went, the only reason I kept reading was because I thought something exciting would happen and pull me into the plot. It didn't. I would recommend If I Stay, which was great, but not Where She Went, which was a disappointment after the first book :}
I read "if i stay", and in my opinion it was nothing...special. It wasn't a "great" book or a book I would reread or obsess over. Don't get me wrong, the book wasn't bad. It was okay. I was fine with the book being as it was, there wasn't an "absolute need" for there to be a sequel, but when I realized there was a sequel, I though "well, I guess I have to read it now." I was not in any rush to read the book, and when I read the first few sentences, I just left it. Not because it was bad, partially because I was bored, and partially because I wasn't that eager to begin with. I will eventually read it, of course, but I'm just saying that the book was just a simple "okay, good.". I haven't seen the movie yet, though...
