Unamo Soft, light blue strands of hair tickled Skye's face as she hid behind one tree. Her clothes were black in order for her to blend in with rest of the night. It was finally happening! Finally, her father had let her go on a hunt alone.

The small hunter pulled her hair up into a messy bun so it would quit blowing in the wind. Her hazel eyes peered from behind the rough bark of the dogwood tree.

"Got you." Skye whispered very quietly as the white light of moon caught a lone wolf. She took her aim and let out a controlled breath. Her finger sat calmly on the trigger. Through the scope of her gun Skye lined up her shot. "3...2...-"

The wolf before her shifted suddenly into a man...a human. Skye had never seen one of the mutts turn human. A small gasp left her lips and her cheeks turned a glowing pink tint. Right in front of her was her school crush, Blake Anderson. She about killed the boy she had liked since elementary!

Unamo Skye's hands shook a bit as she still had the gun pointed. Her eyes were filled with fear seeing as she didn't think she could do it. If she didn't do it her father would be mad. He hit her mother once for not taking a shot and letting the wolf escape. Skye was pretty sure he didn't mean it but it still happened.

The girl watched Blake carefully, her gun still aimed at him. The moment he begged her to stop was the moment she decided she couldn't do it. Skye only lived a few miles away and her father would be listening for a gunshot. "I'm sorry." She mouthed to the werewolf.

Unexpectedly she shot her gun just above his shoulder. Obviously it was a clean shot because blood started to splatter, painting the green foliage with red. The bullet was not lodged in his shoulder and there was no way he'd die. Especially with him being a werewolf he'd heal faster. Blake was probably looking at a sore shoulder tomorrow at school.

Skye quickly got up clicking on the safety of her gun and placing it in its holster. She took off as fast as she could running through the woods that she ran threw as a child. What was she going to do tomorrow at school? Would he say something to her or should she say something to him? Skye wiped a tear of embarrassment and sorrow away from her cheek. Her daddy would kill her if he knew she spared a werewolf's life.

Unamo Skye walked into her house feeling sick. - I just shot him. I shot him. She thought to herself as the hunter placed her gun back in its case. Skye sat on her knees for a while only for her father to sneak up behind her. His hand gripped her shoulder gently making her jump.

"Did you get one, Skye?" Her head turned to look at her tall father. His hair was a light brown color and he was well built. Skye's mother always insisted he was the most handsome man on the planet but Skye disagreed.

"Yeah I shot one. He was too big to bring home." The girl told her father the truth. That was why she had to shoot him. Skye couldn't lie to save her life so she had to set things up in order for her to tell the truth. "I'm pretty tierd, Daddy. I'm going to head to bed now." She kissed her father's cheek then quickly ascended the stairs.

"Goodnight sweetheart." Her father's distant voice called as she collapsed of the the soft, comforting fabric of her bed. Skye grumbled into her pillow and smacked herself on the pack of the head. "Good one, Skye. Tomorrow is going to be fun avoiding him."

Unamo ((Sounds good.))

message 11: by Unamo (new)

Unamo Skye had breathed a sigh of relief in first period when Blake didn't show up. Sure she was a little worried that his injury turned out a little more life threatening than she intended but she had faith in her shot. Now the girl didn't have to sneak around the school.

She walked into her art class. Skye was only there for the 3-D art. That was her speciality. She loved messing with clay, abstract sculptures, and woodwork. Her drawing abilities were absolutely awful. The girl walked into the doorway ready to work on her clay project only to see Blake sitting in his seat.

-He's here! Oh no! Oh no! Just don't look at him Skye. Keep your head down.- Skye used her light blue hair to hide behind as she made her way to the very back. Thankfully a few rows were between them. Now as long as he hadn't seen her walking in and doesn't turn around she should be good.

message 12: by Unamo (new)

Unamo As soon as he sat down next to her, her life was ruined. Skye looked at his drawing by glancing from the corner of her eye. She always silently admired his artwork seeing as their teacher like to display everyone's work during the school art show. It seemed blake always had the most stuff in there.

Skye's hands smoothed out the old, hollow clay tree she was working on. The girl jumped when Blake whispered the question she had been regretting. "I-I couldn't do it..."

That had been the most embarrassing thing to say especially for a hunter. She finally made a brave move and looked at Blake. 3...2...1...

-Abort! Abort the mission! Skye's normal creamy white cheeks turned a ruby color. Maybe her feelings for him happened to be another reason she didn't kill him.

message 13: by Unamo (new)

Unamo "I don't know." Skye finally looked him in the eyes as well. There was no way she could admit the crush part of not killing him so she went for the other reason. "You're human...part human at least. I can't kill someone when they look so human."

Skye hadn't actually killed a werewolf yet. The only blood staining her hands was Blake's shoulder blood. Her father had so much blood in his hands. The girl went silent after that little confessions.

As she worked on her sculpture some more, questions formed in her own mind. "You're angry aren't you? I mean I don't blame you for being angry but...why are you talking to someone that could kill you?"

message 14: by Unamo (new)

Unamo Skye had a reason for killing werewolves. It wasn't something she enjoyed talking about especially not with a werewolf. In fact if Blale would have asked her why she hunted werewolves she'd probably not answer him. He would try to convince her otherwise and then she'd never get justice. "I knew you would heal enough to come to school. I know a lot about your species. Some of it's true and some of it's false. Kind of hard to tell if a werewolf or a human wrote which book."

The girl looked at her sculpture when he asked what it was. Well she thought it was pretty obvious but the fact that Blake didn't know made her want to give up. Her voice stayed quiet and gentle though, "It's a hollow tree. Actually it whistles." She put her lips to a dead looking branch. Skye blew into it making it squeal like wind passing through a real hollow tree.

It wasn't as good as she had hoped but surely it was unique. Skye stared to work on it and shape it so it looked more like a dead hollow tree. Painting it would probably help later. Her hazel eyes peered closely at it tryin to find the flaws.

message 15: by Unamo (new)

Unamo Skye was done trying to better her sculpture for the day. Instead she decided to put it ul and watch Blake draw. His obsession with wolves and forests was kind of cute. The hunter had to admit she was a little jealous. Wolves were allowed to run wherever they wanted and it probably felt good. Probably better than good even, it must have felt amazing.

The shrill sound of the school bell made Skye snap away for her daydreaming. Blake and her didn't have any classes until after lunch. The girl grabbed her bag and slowly walked out of the room giving the werewolf a chance to walk with her if he chose. Maybe being friends with Blake was bad judgment then again even being acquaintances with him could be deadly.

message 16: by Unamo (new)

Unamo The girl looked up at him severely shocked when he asked her to lunch. Normally Skye just ate my the tree outside or in the school greenhouse. "Don't you want to eat with your friends? I did try to kill you yesterday. Pretty sure I missed your brain though." That was the first time she had ever joked with anyone in school. A part of her was serious but that wasn't the point.

Her father was obsessed with controlling her life. He told Skye all that mattered in life was her grades, family, and career. She wasn't allowed to follow her career in veterinary science, which was ironic seeing as she was a hunter. Instead her father was preparing her for the military and she was dreading it. It wasn't meant for her but the girl's father believed she could be an amazing sniper.

Skye put her books in her locker then switched them out with other books. "I don't even know what kind of places there are to eat." She herself had always been on a meat, potatoes, and vegetable diet. That was the same diet her father had. Skye felt a blush color her cheeks as she was so unsure about something as simple as lunch.

message 17: by Unamo (new)

Unamo ((Sorry this is shorter wrote it once then the app shutdown.))

"Yes I'll go to lunch with you." She said a little timidly then headed off to history. Skye hated history class. The girl was bad with dates and politics. Her hair swished back and forth across her back as she walked down the hallway.

Once in her class she took a seat just barely beating the bell. Skye the proceeded to stare out the window. And like a crane hits a deteriorating building, reality hit the girl. She was going out to lunch with a werewolf, with the enemy!
