http://eldritchhobbit.livejournal.com... This seems to be a very comprehensive list of YA Dystopias published in the second half of the 20th century, grouped into decades. There's also a separate list for since 2000.
edit: n/m Eden 1 was 2016, but all the details match.Sounds just like the Children of Eden trilogy.

The girl is Rowan and this is a one child per family domed city that is said to be the last refuge for humanity (it isn't). The officials say that damaging radiation will cause blindness eventually so at birth all legal children are given these flat grey almost metallic-looking lenses permanently applied that also act as trackers and turn the lights on at night when they walk, etc. Later in series we learn they can also affect behaviour. Does any of this sound familiar?
It almost sounds like the Uglies series by Scott Westerfield but the details only vaguely match. In this series everyone can get plastic surgery at a certain age and they are really restricted in their lives, they basically get constantly drunk and stuff and in the third book (I think?) they use magnet platforms and lines of iron ore to travel outside of these cities. Hopefully helpful!

You can "bump" your thread every month or so. This pushes your thread back to the top of the folder instead of languishing here on page 175 where fewer eyes will see it. Get back in the game! Bump!
You can do this by typing a new comment at the end of the thread, or even by typing the word "bump."
Good luck
