So here's my question for everyone. Speaking of "freaks." My first book is a look at a group of people most of us see as freaks -- real people who run for president. I drove 10,000 miles last spring to meet 15 of these folks, after interviewing more than 100 on the phone to find the best subjects. As it turns out, these people aren't all crazy. They're just doing something crazy. There's a difference. So the book ended up being a lot about what it's like to do something the rest of the world thinks is nuts. Hence, my question: I'd really like to get word about it but how can I meet/chat/otherwise communicate with people who might enjoy it? Any and all suggestions are more than welcome! Thanks for your time and indulgence!

This is a really interesting concept and I wish you a lot of luck and success with your project. As for getting good feedback and such, have you considered making a Facebook page for your book and inviting people who are unconventional go-getters and other types like that to look into it and discuss may how they relate or don't relate to the content of your book. Just an idea....but FB seems to be quite a hub for people sharing stuff like that so...
