Laura (lbruffino67) Hi, By brother, Jeff Minerd, is a published YA Fantasy Author and lives in Pittsford, NY. You can check out his goodreads author page, his webstie jeffminerd.com and his reviews on Amazon. He also was written up in our local Democrat and Chronicle newspaper and Rochester's City Newspaper. It is a YA book but he has many adults reading it and loving it. If you want a goodread and support a local published author, I'd highly suggest you read his book!

Sounds like a fun project! I really enjoyed Ghostbread by Sonja Livingston, it is an autobiography about the author's life, growing up in poverty in Rochester, and moving around Upstate New York, and the uncertainty, and instability of growing up in poverty in NY in the 1970's. She was in Rochester last year as the Rochester Reads author in Residency with her book Queen of the Fall.

Lesley Hello, I live in Deerfield NY, married 17 years here. My father was in the military but I spent my summers growing up in Sodus with my grandparents. Loved going to Sodus Point to the lighthouse for a walk and an ice cream cone! Good memories!

Garrison Scott (garrisonwrites) | 2 comments Hi there good people of upstate New York!

I live in Otsego county and finished my first novel just a few months ago and have finally found goodreads.

Good luck out there with your projects, it seems to me the hard part comes after you've clicked the publish button.
