I am so excited for book 3 to come out! I am team Maven all the way. But I do understand why a lot of people hate him.
I am even though there's no hope. Bit I still live for their scenes. They can always have hope in my head ;)
ok so whenever he does stuff like he little legion i really just wanna punch him in the face, but i still have hope for him and i really hope he bounces back.
I am team Maven so much it hurts! I was always team Maven and every time he hurts Mare I die a little inside because I know that they would be so perfect for each other if only Maven would stop breaking her. I agree he is horrible but once you read King's Cage you will understand why. Mare is a strong and fiery person with a crap ton of emotions and she needs someone to help calm her without angering her. She needs someone who knows their way around her heart. Cal tries to be close to her but he has too much anger to be good for her and he only makes things worse whenever he tries. His beliefs are conflicted, Mare needs someone who knows what side they're on, even if it's not her's. Maven has a troubled past, I can't spoil anything but trust me on this one! He makes promises and in his own twisted way, he keeps them. He has these emotions that he has to deal with, they're there but they go against everything he is. Maven may be a cruel traitor but at least he knows what he's doing and what he wants. He and Mare combined would create a passionate relationship full of ups and downs but at least it would be built on love.
I'm honestly not sure how to feel about him :'D I finished Red Queen a long time ago, and I remember shipping Maven and Mare a lot, but then there was this betrayal and I thought she was going to end up with Cal because of how the book ended.Recently I've discovered that that's not the case, and there's some home for Maven so I'm going to pick up the series when all the books come out and I hope for the best!
I'm kinda hoping that under what Elara has made of him, he's the same guy we met in the first book.
I don't really know who's team I am on... I was on team Cal, but after kings cage, I really don't know anymore!
At this point I just and shipping Evangeline and Elaine. They are the only ones who aren't totally extra.
I was totally rooting for him in the Red Queen and then he just made me hate his guts in Glass Sword and then when we finally got to see more of the real him and why he is the way he is I started to like a bit more and more. He's still definitely not my favorite but I don't really hate him at all
He did exactly what he was raised to do. His duty comes before everything else. That was shown in Red Queen and it is still true now.
Okay I love mare and cal so much but there’s still a tiny bit that wants mare and maven together like in red queen I preferred cal over the old maven or the fake maven but in kings cage i liked him a lot more, I want more stuff to happen between him and mare and I don’t necessarily want him to die
Is it true that Maven is bisexual ??? I just found a picture where Victoria says that on Twitter(am not sure if it's true) .
It doesn't really matter if he is. He is still cruel and likes Mare in a creepy way.

I loved maven in the first book but then..... He completely changes! So was he just putting an act on for book one? Cal I didn't like in the beginning but then he's much better in book two and three :)
Kings Cage shattered any hope that Mare was going to get with Cal. It KILLED me!!! WHY VICTORIA AVEYARD??! WHYYYYY!!!!?
Oh, I will never lose hope for Cal and Mare! They have been in fights before, so surely they will get out of this one. I have always loved Cal, and I have wanted him to be with Mare more and more the further I got into the series!

Totally my opinion, but I honestly like Maven better....I know you all are going to question my sanity now!!I do think that Mare and Cal work better together though.
True, except I don't think it is TRUE love, I think it is just an obsession.
I think it is or was least was true love but Elara just RUINED IT (if you read King's Cage you know what I am taking about)
I'm totally on Mavens side. He was kind of a sick, wicked, bastard. But I really liked him, I really want Mare and Maven together!!!
Maven's love for Mare was NEVER true love, and it never will be. It was always and will always be a sick obsession. Now, Cal and Mare though, THAT BE TRU LUV!!! XDXD
I can't help it. I love Maven! Everything he did was unforgivable though. But, just a thought, if Mare picked Maven first and not Cal, things would've been different. And I personally would've (and already have) fallen in love with Maven

Yeah, Maven is a personal fave. I don't think he had a "sick obsession". His mother had just been screwing with his mind. He couldn't think clearly, everything was almost blurry. Had he been clearly seeing and understanding the situation at hand, things would have been totally different.
