Aelic stumbled a little as the guards pushed him into the massive entrance way/foyer of the old palace, closing the huge oak doors behind him. The sound of them slamming shut echoed in his ears, a grim reminder that he had just traded one prison for another. A brief taste of the outside world was all he had ever wanted, but to have been given it and then have it ripped away may have actually been worse. Shaking his head to pull himself out of those dark thoughts, Aelic allowed his sharp snake eyes to finally rest on his surroundings and found his breath going short. Though dusty and old, this place was clearly once magnificent. The beautifully tiled floors echoed the guards sharp footsteps and the crystal chandeliers above caught the light in a dazzling way. His investigation was cut short however as one guard grabbed his neck to force his head down, and another tugged forcefully on the chains around his wrists. 'Owl! Got another one for you!' The guard with his chains shouted, clearly annoyed that no one had been here to greet them. Or at least, no one that he could see. Aelic only had time to briefly scan the room but he had picked out at least 3 Cursed hiding in the shadows, watching, waiting for this 'Owl' to come take charge.
"So I see let's see here. Hmm male. Around 16 years of age. A snake the white snake to be precise. He has fangs too meaning off to the west wing with you you can have cell 21." Owl said looking the boy over with her large owl like eyes and bird like face. "He will need a represent daily to stop his venomous bite." She added on the end and watched as the guards dragged him away.
Aelic looked over his shoulder as the guards dragged him away, chains clinking. Owl's eyes were sad and he knew immediately that she took no pleasure in taking away his only defence, no pleasure in confining him to another cell (though he was impressed she identified him as a white snake, that's hard to do). He sighed sadly and turned back, memorising which door the guards were opening, knowing the quicker he learnt this place's layout the better. He wondered briefly what life would now be like for him, feeling a spark of nervousness that he quickly suppressed. The west wing was obviously for the more dangerous Cursed and Aelic silently prays to the White Snake goddess to give him wisdom and allow him to become friends with the Cursed around him (whilst he hates being imprisoned again, he is pleased he isn't alone).

The woman walked into the building, staring at the room. It was old and dusty, true, but that could be fixed with a little clean up.
She had a bag slung over her shoulder- she'd gone willingly when the Snatchers had caught up with her, so they'd let her keep it. They'd figured she was just a weak woman, so they hadn't even gone through it. Not that would've understood the contents if they had,
She ran her figers through her short pink hair, displacing her glasses. She wondered where to go first. They'd told her where her room was, so she could go there, or she could go introduce herself. Soneone had to be up, right?
Before she could decide, a teenager walked up and said hello.
"I'm Lo. It's nice to meet you....What did you say your name was?....Got it. You're the first one I've met here. Tell me something about yourself." The kid laughed.
"You want me to go first? Alright."
She said something that set her apart from probably everyone else here.
Lo saw the sparkle in those eye for just a moment, to be replaced by a sad expression. She laughed.
"Don't worry, kiddo. I'm sure it's not as hopeless as you think. I have faith in you. Now you have to say something about yourself." The two of them continued walking and talking.
Lo was glad to know that she'd made her first friend here.
