How do you like your westerns? Better yet what do you think is a better way to go, a classic old fashioned Western or a modern day one that while modern still has the old western feel and themes that make it so?
The idea popped into my head and it got me thinking something that never occurred to me. I see all these weird westerns but how many of them are set during the wild west era? Do they have to be set in the olden times wild west era? Can they be set in modern day times?
My personal thoughts are that most weird westerns take place in old times and if they aren't then they become so by time travel because after all it is a weird western. I don't think the time period of a weird western effects whether it's a weird western or not but it got me thinking and I feel it makes for a solid discussion so what are your thoughts?
