Continental Drift by Russell Banks

People either love (many people) or don't like (me) Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale about the menace of the religious right and the horrible things that might happen to women. (I agree with the moral of the story, just not the way it is told.)

Finally, American Psycho by Bret Ellis.
