Does anyone else kind of wish Maven was good?

I did in the first place but I read Glass Sword and now im just like eh not really

I think if he didn't have that evil witch for a mother he could of been an awesome guy and then Mare could have actually saved the world!

I still do tbh. After King's Cage I feel like his whole life was shaped by his mother. He can't even remember loving Cal and his dad. It's not natural it was twisted by Elara. And he actually loves Mare but Elara disoriented that as well. If they find a way to inprison him or help him I think it'd be cruel to kill him.

If only that she-demon Elara didn't warble up his mind, he would be perfect. I think I have an obsession with good-looking villians, lol. I love him so much because he stands as such a great, complicated, but well developed villian and you get to explore more of his past in King's Cage. While a part of me loves him as a villain, most of me wants him to be revived and okay in the end. Psh, we all know that's not gonna happen. D:

I haven't read King's Cage yet, but I do know if i had to choose a villain for this series it would definitely be Maven. I wouldn't have liked this series at all if he was good and the antagonist was Elara or Evangeline. Plus who doesn't love a beautiful, brooding villain:p

I hope he gets what he deserves in the last and final book. That he gets locks up like he did mare and suffers and bleeds as well wow a lot anger in me, and yes I wish he was good.

I want him to be good but I do want him to pay for what he did to Mare and the reds...

I wish he was good and Mare was torn apart by who she should choose Maven or Cal. They would be much more dramatic.

Maven would be close to perfect for me if he was good. I still love him the way he is right now. But oh! He's awesome.

I never asked for your opinion, tbh. I just stated my opinion on the thread.

I personally really like Maven, he's such an interesting character. And I really thought that Maven would be good, I still think he should be. Maybe. Kind of. I'm conflicted.
