Garth Ennis talks about the Preacher TV Show.

Paul Porry | 11 comments I am excited about Preacher, and also Outcast.

What is Outcast?

Paul Porry | 11 comments Outcast is a comic book series from Image Comics, written by Robert Kirkman and illustrated by Paul Azaceta, it is a horror comic book which deals with demon possession. It is being adapted as a television series by Cinemax, and is set to debut in June. I am excited to know Cinemax has also picked up The Boys by Garth Ennis

That sounds a bit scary to me. I do like Kirkman on Invincible though.

Paul Porry | 11 comments I enjoy Invincible very much, I am about to start reading volume 22.

Meran | 6 comments The Boys would be awesome! Not sure how it'd do on tv though. It was pretty over the top violent and the Sex Volume would be horrible to go thru a second time. I loved how it fit with my own ideas of "super heroes" though. (In movies, I point out how many people would have died in that destruction the Hulk, and others, just caused in fighting a "super villain".)

Outcast will debut June 3rd, Preacher May 22nd.

Paul Porry | 11 comments Cinemax picked up The Boys, so it will probably be violent like the comic.

Meran | 6 comments Oh, I'm sure it will be. It'll have to be.
I imagine it'll be a bit like Spartacus. But my god! That was pretty rough, many times….
