Mare and Cal! I ship them! But I was so so terribly upset at the end of King's Cage. I thought all their problems might get resolved. BUT Cal (stupid ,stupid him) wanted his THRONE?

I think them breaking up shocked me as much as the other plot twists.

I don't really like the two of them together. Cal would be a good king I believe. But I think someone else would be better for him.

Democracy would be great. Or maybe socialism.
