Hmmm, I did enjoy the set up of the radio telescope and the logistics of sending a signal between two stars. Of all things i took exception to etchings a 2D fictional thingy. basically the construction of a "sopron". Though I know jack about multidentional stuff. i found that fanciful to the point of , what the term Dues Ex Machina?

I got lost in the sopron process, but enjoyed trying to picture all the dimensions. Probably some of this is very fanciful, but the story is engaging. And thoughtful, philosophically. Lots of plot and thematic commentary in the story on religious, political, corporate and individual power.
Here are a few quotes I copied in my notebook:
(p. 71) "'To accomplish something in theoretical physics requires one to have almost religious faith. It's easy to be led to the abyss.'"

OK, found it. There are two comment threads for Three Body Problem, this one (Science) and the other (Cultural Revolution). My short comment is on the Cultural Revolution Thread. Would be better, methinks, to have a single comment thread for the Harper Lee book. Rolando, any thoughts?
