Dannie couldn't brag about a lot, but she did have secrecy down.
This part of town seemed to nice, it was far, far to nice for a mob boss. Was mob boss the correct term now? Whatever they were now called. This part of town had an air of class, prestige.
She wrapped her arms around her waist and continued to walk down the street at a determined pace. 709 Honey Creek Dr. She repeated over and over to herself.
She didn't seem the hero type, very far from it. She was short and stocky with ratty hair in a ponytail. Cargo pants and a tank top. Stupid tank top in the fall, she was chilled to the bone. "You can flip a car, but can't stand a little cold." She muttered.
Dannie supposed that it was a good thing that she looked like a civilian, less attention when she was stalking her prey.

her hawk-like eyes never left the sight of her victim. there she was. in cargo pants and a tank top, the least appropriate outfit for this side of the night especially in this part of the town. however, psylocke was quite the villan veteran. she had many years of combat training, successful assassinations and had made quite the reputation for herself. the moon hung in the air above the pair who walked a block between them. while capable of flight, psylocke perferred to blend in as a normal human, not the mutant she was born to be. her unnatural purple eyes never left dannie as she approached her destination.

"Oh, bother." She muttered and crouched her legs, she jumped attempting to grab the last wrung. "Screw it." She snapped at herself and survayed her surroundings one more time. Jackpot. A stack of crates, maybe strong enough to hold her weight.

psylocke was cunning and had no desire in letting her victim get away quickly. quickening her pace, the dark haired waist-cinched beauty leapt forward, kicking her foot up to allow her flight ability to propell her through the little space left through the back door that dannie opened. her dark shadow hid behind the stack of crates. she observed dannie attempt to get up unsuccessfully. with the element of suprise in her arsenal, the tight suit wearing villan was capable of gaining the upperhand quickly. as long as she kept in the dark, she was safe from being seen. she could bide her time by tossing a small weapon in the opposite direction, hoping to divert dannies attention long enough for psylocke to manipulate the tower of wooden crates in her favor.

She saw two options before her. Go with the typical white-girl-in-a-horror-movie option and call out, hoping her stalker was stupid enough to answer her. Or she could ignore it. Dannie's powers weren't offensive until she had been defensive. She couldn't fight until she was attacked.
Part of her was hoping that she would be attacked. She could disable the enemy and then use the stored energy to get herself off the ground.
psylocke possessed an extensive range of powers. while she specializes in telekinetic abilities, she also has the powers of telepathy. her telepathy was quite remarkable for she spoke directly to the person she was manipulating, her voice soft and airy that it was as though you spoke to a higher being. narrowing her eyes, the mysterious night assassin projected her telepathic abilites towards dannie. she entered a region of the brain that was incapable of identifiying to which direction the transmitted voice originated from. she spoke : "dannie shneider." her voice was clear and crisp. it was oddly calm and cool. as though this was fate that this voice greeted her in this manner. "your criminal has already left. jetted off quickly." psylocke was transmitting one of the clearest messages that would ultimately play with dannie's mind even once she leaves it.

Dannie was one that was quick to anger, but quick to calm. After stomping around the ally for a moment, hand in her hair, she settled down. She had almost completely forgotten about the mysterious telekinetic movement from earlier.
The remarkable telepathy, nearly the third strongest mutant in this ability observed Dannie's frustrated behavior with an amused glisten in her vibrant purple eyes. While maintaining her mental link with Dannie, her voice adjusted accordingly, speaking as though she was right next to dannies, ear, whispering sweet nothings. "Come to me," She said gently at first. "I can give you want you need. Power. Success." These were sweet lies, a trap to ensnare the naive hero that she was going to be aided in her crusade for justice.

Hubris was a hell of a thing. Excessive pride. If this person could save her pride...
psylocke smirked softly. she stepped out of the shadows and move swiftly, executing her self-given mission. she struck dannie between the shoulder and the neck, her hand jabbing it right at the pressure point. to ensure that dannie wouldn't be capable of responding quickly, she whirled around, lifting her left leg striking it directly across dannie's stomach. still maintaining the telepahtic link with dannie, psylocke was able to project the image of a demonic force, meant to terrorize and enhance the intensity and the pain of her blows.

psylocke broke the telepathic communication and evaded into the night. she had what she needed. secret, on her boot strap there was a mysterious liquid on her boot that festered on dannie's skin before sinking below, entering the blood stream. disappearing into the night, psylocke left without a notice.

Demons... they didn't exist, or they did, but she had never been bother by them. And one that was telepathic? It didn't necessarily hurt her, sure, it would have left a normy with some bruises, but Dannie just had a slight tingle where she was hit.
She picked up the hand bracing her, concentrating all the energy into it and slammed it back into the wall, cracking the bricks,

[ i'm going to insert my human character bella ]
the milk chocolate brunette female was walking around this part of the night. at home she was abused by her family and it was usually the night that she escaped it all. she was sporting a fresh bruise, a cut lip and unruly hair hidden underneathe her grey hood which covered her face. she walked quickly, but yelped as she heard the bricks cracking on the building she passed by. while when some people were abused, they grew hard from it. that was not bella. she flinced from anything that she recognized as violence. directed to her or not.

Dannie straightened and gulped down another breath or two. She recomposed herself and stepped out of the alley. She waited at the mouth of the alley, and scanned the street for people. No one but a civilian. She reached up and undid her hair and let it fall. It was a simple trick to hide her face, keep her incognito.

Dannie and turned and walked towards the civilian. She was fixing to just brush past, but she saw the expression. It was one she’d worn herself, many, many times. She slowed down and pushed her bangs from her face. “Evening.” She nodded, still a few paces away.
bella braced herself for the wall to collapse but when it didn't she let out a shaky exhale, the cold night illuminating the white ghost smoke of her breath. she was walking towards the water, looking for an escape when a mysterious indivudal spoke to her. there were little lights here on this side of time so she was lucky that the closet one was a block away. "huh?" she asked, her voice barley above a whisper. she rapidly looked over the female for any objects that could harm her. once deducing that dannie held no weapons, she loosened up but slightly. "oh hi," her tone sounded uncertain. "you shouldn't be out here at night. it's not safe for visitors." She said, more concerned for the girl's safety than her own.

the brunette was quiet. bella was timid but she wasn't stupid. "it's dangerous out here." she repeated before walking away briskfully, her feet crossing one another's path. she walked stiffly, holding the hood closer to her head. her fingers curled around the material. years of being abused kept her quick on her toes, but never quick enough to run away.

Her adrenaline had officially worn off and she stood in the middle of the sidewalk shivering and watching the brunette walk away, waiting for a reaction, if she'd even give one.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
bella resumed her walk, the hood pulled up tight around her head, concealing her identity from the few people who appeared around her. there were rumors that vigilantes and dangerous people here roamed. but the broken brunette didn't care for rumors or truths anymore. she knew her home was more dangerous than the outside and was comforted by the darkness around her.

Bella screamed as the silver arrow flew into the garbage can next to her. Her hood fell down and her eyes jumped to the shadow up above and across the way. With her hood fallen, the bruises and cuts along her features were visible. Her face expressed the fear she felt.

With that terrifying experience Bella was quick on her toes, nearly launching herself away from the injured garbage can. Not noticing that the boy who shot at her, Bella kept running towards him, mistakening him for another random bypasser. "Watch out!" She gasped, knocking him over. "Someone's trying to kill me!" She scrambled around, dashing into the alley trying to avoid whatever was going to be directed at her soon.

Bella wasn't mad or angry. His deep voice was startling. It was nothing like her fathers. "I wish they were." She muttered under her breathe, not expecting herself to say it. Up until this point, life was normal being beat up.

Bella glared momentarily at the boy. "Because I live with a monster who keeps me alive only to bleed at his mercy." The brunette commented with a passionate spite in her tone. While Bella was usually a reserved individual the darkness of the night gave her more confidence. It also enabled her an upperhand when her family tried to abuse her, allowing her to escape into the unknown where no one could harm her.

[ oh sure ok. if you're able too, i'd love if you could add some more to your posts? i'm not sure if your muse is low or whatever. ']
Bella wasn't used to hearing apologizes and immediatly crossed her arms over her chest, portraying her offense to his tone. With his swift departure, Bella was left with mixed feelings. She wanted to go after him, perhaps request he protect her for he had quite the aim. A single arrow to her father's throat would be good. Quietly, she quickly chased after him, keeping to the shadows until she arrived at his destination, confusion written across her face.
