and we are finished! What are your final thoughts on the book? If you are a huge fan of Sherlock, how does this compare to your favorite adaptations? Do you think you'll pick up the sequel? Do you have any theories on what will happen in the next book?

I personally really enjoyed it! I loved the similarities to the original Sherlock stories and of course the BBC adaptation. While Benedict and Martin will always be the perfect Sherlock and John, I really enjoyed this different adaptation. I think I also ship Charlotte and Jamie even though in the show I don't ship Sherlock and John romantically. I will definitely be reading the next book as well--I want to meet a Moriarty and I hope he/she is sassy because all Moriartys should be sassy. I also hope we see more of Milo and Jamie's dad because they were hilarious.
I think the mystery was done really well in this book and I could see the similarities to A Study In Scarlet (though we need a better Lestrade). I also enjoyed the part about Charlottes middle name because it reminded me of the Hamish part in the show.
My only problems with this book was the writing--I wasn't the biggest fan the whole time and I thought some of the prose could have be rewritten.
As a big Sherlock fan I definitely had a lot of fun reading this! 4/5 stars from me
I really liked it, the characters were great and I love how they acted like both teens and like their predecessors. The only big problem I had was that I was always a step ahead of them. I guessed the culprit almost at their introduction in the story, the motive (in general, no specifics), the "mastermind" and the masterminds motives. I've watched so many mystery/crime solving tv and movies that I have become an expert at identifying how a writer introduces their culprit. I even guessed who the bad guy in Big Hero 6 was before I knew their was going to be a bad guy; I simply saw the guys appearance and said he did it (or does it in this case). But that is more of a personal problem and had only a small effect on how much I enjoyed the book. The real grab of this book are Holmes and Watson. They are practically genetically made for each other, even if it stays as a friendship for as long as they like. A friendship like theirs can surpass most romances I've read. I want the next book to have a few more chapter interludes from Charlotte. I felt I could see her more as herself in that last part then I could through Watsons eyes. Watson puts her on a pedestal, but in reality she has a few serious personality defects. She is defiantly selfish and emotional, but I like how she tries to fight it and I really love how Watson and Lena could see past it and love her. Overall 4/5
VERY CUTE EPILOGUE!! But.. it does confuse my b/c its' gonna be a trilogy? I thought there would be like a cliff hanger or something?? Really, really loved this! I liked having the POV of Holmes as the Epilogue.
