Runell I see that you've got quite a few Buddy Reads going on and as this is a larger book, when would you like to start this one?

Krissy (krissystewart) | 3693 comments Maybe in the second week of April?

message 5: by Runell (new)

Runell So the 11th?

Krissy (krissystewart) | 3693 comments That works for me :)

Runell Me too!

Angie ~aka Reading Machine~ (wolffaerie17) | 2160 comments Sounds good to me as well. I've got question. How do you want to work the buddy read number of pages per day or number of chapters per day?

Krissy (krissystewart) | 3693 comments I read a lot of books each month so I have to read quickly. I always read and post with spoiler tags which is what works best for me. Chopping the book up into chapters or days takes too long. But if that is what you guys want to do go for it.

Krissy (krissystewart) | 3693 comments I'll be starting this late tonight or early tomorrow morning

Runell I'm five chapters in (I'm having to switch back and forth between this one, Pretty Girls, and Pucked because Pucked has gone WAYYYY downhill for me) and I'm loving it!

Angie ~aka Reading Machine~ (wolffaerie17) | 2160 comments I'll be starting this one in a couple of hours.

Krissy (krissystewart) | 3693 comments I'm at 39% chapter 24

It started off a little slow but is picking up slightly. I just prefer a little more excitement in my mystery/thriller books

Krissy (krissystewart) | 3693 comments FINISHED! I feel about the same as the first book. When I read a mystery/thriller I like it to be a little more exciting. Most of this is just footwork and interviews and adding clues together. I like a little bit more action. Slow paced investigations just doesn't get my adrenaline going. So by the time you get to the end and find out the killer is (view spoiler) I was over it. I will say this, I think the narrator did a great job.

Angie ~aka Reading Machine~ (wolffaerie17) | 2160 comments I'm up to Chapter 21. The book seems to be dragging I think a few more edits would help but alas I'm not the author.

Angie ~aka Reading Machine~ (wolffaerie17) | 2160 comments I finished the book tonite. I seriously wish it had more edits because it really took too long to get to the point.

Krissy (krissystewart) | 3693 comments Right? I remember the first book paced just as slowly. So I'm thinking the entire series will be the same. I like a little excitement with my mystery. I doubt I'll read any more of this series.

Angie ~aka Reading Machine~ (wolffaerie17) | 2160 comments I thought the first one was slow but nothing compared to this book. I'm going to read the next book then decide if I'm continuing.
