YA Lovers discussion

Hey guys, i was looking for books to read in this genre that will get me into reading these genres I usually stick to the same type of books and I want to read more of these but need books that will ease me into these genres.

I haven't read a lot myself so I don't have a lot to suggest. A fantasy series I enjoyed that isn't hugely popular is The Chicagoland Vampire series. I read it when I was younger and it's quite enjoyable. I wouldn't say it is strikingly unique but it's interesting and has cool characters. It isn't just Vampires as well, there is a nice variety of different mythical creatures, Vampires just happen to be the main ones in the story. If you have any suggestions yourself, that would be awesome! :)
