Book Series Character Lists discussion

Yesterday, Shelfari shut down the search and edit functions.

If you're still needing to copy over some character lists and having trouble accessing the book pages, you can get to them if you have at least one book in the series on your shelf.

We've got about a week before Shelfari goes away for good. If you have some series character lists you'd like me to capture, please post them here. I've figured how to access them.

Hi Jonetta. If there are any lists for characters in the Saxon Tales series by Bernard Cornwell I'd greatly appreciate having them.

There were character lists for the first seven books in the series and I've added them. The seventh book just has the list without any populated descriptions. It was around 2014 when Shelfari started having issues and people bailed out.

If you would like to recopy them under your name so you can manipulate the information, feel free to do so. Just let me know and I'll delete mine when you're done.

Do you mean make a new thread myself and copy over all the info?

Yes, if you need to edit the data. Otherwise, you can leave as is.

Okay, I'll take a closer look at it when I get home (I'm about to leave work) and see if I need to make any changes to remember characters better and I'll let you know.

Thanks for much for bringing them over. This series has a LOT of characters and so many of them have similar sounding names that it can get confusing.

The folks on Shelfari did a great job of providing descriptions.

I like to put the names in bold on my books as it makes for easier reference. Takes a little time but it's worth it for long-running series. And, I do it when I'm reading the next book in the series. That's why I thought you might want to recopy but it that's completely up to you.

Okay, Jonetta, I've gone ahead and copied the information over in my own posts because I am going to want to make some changes/additions. Sorry it took me so long but I didn't get to the computer much over the long holiday weekend here.
