YA Backlist Bookclub discussion

Hi!
This is the forum for the first in our next series - The Grisha trilogy by Leigh Bardugo.
This series won by a mile in the poll, so hopefully a lot of you will be joining in the discussion over the coming month!

I've already read this series and I really LOVE the world that it is set in!! And yes i agree about The Darkling, especially in this first book!! However the series does introduce some other interesting characters along the way too ;)

Well I've just added another book to my favourites list. This book was incredibly enjoyable and had me hooked from the beginning (or maybe from chapter two). I too am a fan of The Darkling and hope to see more of him in the future books.

I'm only halfway through this right now, but I have to say I agree with all the comments about The Darkling; he is fascinating and I am really enjoying his character so far. I love the world too, and the magic system and forms it can take for each Grisha. Glad you all enjoyed the first book, and hoping I'll join you with the high ratings!
