The Eidolon by Tiffany Dominguez The Eidolon by Tiffany Dominguez

Raised by a merciless father who believes that all children should be contributing members of society, Lady Veronica Richmond never measured up. Tortured and beaten down in her endless, cruel etiquette and academic lessons, she refused to cave. Instead, she created for herself a secret alter-ego—a gentleman who rescues those very children her father believes to be worthless from a life of child slavery.

Tired of her failures in the classroom and in life, her father gives her a choice—either marry a rich, foreign prince to prove she can do something for the Richmond name or he’ll withdraw funding from the children’s shelter. Veronica must agree or lose the orphans who’ve filled her heart and life with a purpose. In the meantime, the steamtech baron she steals the children from—Lord Grillett—discovers Veronica’s true identity and threatens her if she doesn’t give herself up to him and return the orphans.

Wooed by the prince she’s supposed to marry, threatened by her father and Lord Grillett, and finding herself falling for the prince’s bodyguard, Veronica learns she cannot save everything—including her own heart—without first losing it all.

All Made of Hinges (A Mormon Steampunk Anthology Book 1) by James Wymore All Made of Hinges

Cheerful in the face of dark opposition. Innovative to improve a backward world. Industrial as a cure for oppressive conditions. Unyielding beneath all who seek to bind and control them. Faithful until they conquer the fear of death and rise to great acts of heroism and service. Mormons and Steampunks are two faces of the same coin.

Twelve authors spin tales of true believers facing impossible odds, risking this life in the hope of gaining something better after. Mormon Battalion soldiers fight an airship, a bounty hunter crosses Porter Rockwell, cultists attempt to reanimate Brigham Young, and missionaries run into Cthulhu. These are just a few of the amazing tales by award winning, bestselling, and premier authors—D. J. Butler, John M. Olsen, Steven L. Peck, Elizabeth Mueller, Scott E. Tarbet, Jay Barnson, Joe Monson, Amanda Hamblin, Christopher McAfee, Jace Killan, John D. Payne, and Lee Allred.

All Made of Hinges is the first installment in the incredible three-part Mormon Steampunk series.

The Lady in the Coppergate Tower by Nancy Campbell Allen The Lady in the Coppergate Tower by Nancy Campbell Allen

Hazel Hughes has spent her life believing she is a Medium—someone who can talk to ghosts. But as of yet, that skill has remained frustratingly elusive. She is also suffering from a reoccurring childhood dream of someone who looks almost exactly like Hazel, but this dream version of herself is slowly going mad.

Sam MacInnes is a talented surgeon who runs in the highest social circles thanks to his family’s position and history. When Sam hires Hazel to assist him with his medical practice, he is immediately drawn to her intelligence, wit, and beauty.

Their potential relationship is derailed one evening when a mysterious count arrives in London and reveals to Hazel the truth about her past: she was abducted at birth and her twin sister has fallen dangerously ill.

Hazel agrees to travel to Romania with Count Petrescu in order to save her sister, and Sam insists on accompanying her. The count has secrets, though, and the journey grows more sinister with every mile that draws Hazel closer to her homeland. Even as her feelings for Sam become deeper and more complicated, she fears she might not survive the quest to save her sister with her heart intact, not to mention her life. She must learn to draw on gifts she doesn’t know she has if they are going to ever return home again.

Hazel and Sam must fight their way past dark magic, clockwork beasts, and their own insecurities as they try to reach her sister in the impenetrable Coppergate Tower before time runs out.

T.K. Arispe (tkarispe) Thunder Girl by T.K. Arispe

Thunder Girl is an alternate history steampunk fantasy supernatural Western, because apparently I like to see how many genres I can squeeze into a single novel. :)

I think the most fun thing about this novel is that it has steampunk robots and they were super fun to write! They are sapient and super friendly (for the most part), and really endearing despite resembling giant spiders or scorpions or walking fortresses.
