~ Giulia ~ Hi! Checking in :)

message 3: by BLT (new)

BLT Hi!
What boards are you guys going to use?

message 4: by ~ Giulia ~ (new)

~ Giulia ~ On the other thread you said you prefer the regular one, right? I don't mind using that :)

Awesome! Will you guys be completing the board together?

message 6: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (sarahforsman_) I don't mind what board, will we be doing the board together? I'm not someone who reads lots of books in a month.

I don't read lots of books in a month too, so I think it's better to work together to make more points

If two of us read the same book, can we use it for 2 squares on the same board (one for each person that read the book)?

message 8: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (sarahforsman_) I don't know. That's a good question. I'm currently reading Cinder

message 9: by BLT (new)

BLT i read very fast so i dont mind joining your board or do my own

and i ll also be reading cinder later this month :)

I really liked that series! The next books are even better imho (Captain Thorne <3 )

message 11: by BLT (new)

BLT I cant wait :):):)

message 12: by BLT (new)

BLT are you guys going to write reviews? I've never really tried to wright one and dont know what to do

message 13: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (sarahforsman_) I just saw that if you do a buddy read you get an additional point.

message 14: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (sarahforsman_) I've never written a review before, do we have to?

message 15: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (sarahforsman_) I've never written a review before, do we have to?

message 16: by BLT (new)

BLT i dont know i dont think so i think we just have a place to put out review link if we have one

but i dont think i m going to do some

message 17: by BLT (new)

BLT @ Sarah are you in the group Bookworms?
if so i think we re already doing the Cinder reading challenge together :)

message 18: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (sarahforsman_) I am in that group and reading it for it. I won't do the reviews either

message 19: by Madelyn (new)

To get the points, you must post reviews. The only reason why is to prove that you read the book. To make it simpler, you may post updates on your reading on the review thread:

Ex. Page 1-256 I am really liking the character Bobkus because he is funny

256-300 Bobkus is a villain

325 I did not like this book because...

If you choose that option, be sure to specify if you liked the book or not. Does that make sense?

message 20: by BLT (new)

BLT Okay so basically a brief summary and wether or not I liked the book?

message 21: by Madelyn (new)

Madelyn Rose | 382 comments Mod
Exactly.

message 22: by BLT (new)

BLT Okayy thanks!!

message 23: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (sarahforsman_) Ok thank you so much!

message 24: by ~ Giulia ~ (new)

~ Giulia ~ Just copying the link to have them here too:
YA board
regular board

message 25: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (sarahforsman_) If we are doing the regular board, I can do the one word title

message 26: by ~ Giulia ~ (new)

~ Giulia ~ I have the classic and the "book your friend loves" (both can be changed to something else if you need those squares)

message 27: by BLT (new)

BLT I can do a book more than 500 pages

A book with a 1 word title

A book by a female author

I'm currently reading the Colorado Mountains series by Kristen Ashley. They are 1 word titles and all over 500 pages each

message 28: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (sarahforsman_) I'm currently reading Cinder for One Word Title

message 29: by ~ Giulia ~ (new)

~ Giulia ~ @Cleo are you reading the second one? If so you could take the "second book in a series"

@Sarah Cinder could be a "book written by someone under thirty"

message 30: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (sarahforsman_) The author is over 30 now but when she wrote it, she was under 30, does that count??

Sarah wrote: "The author is over 30 now but when she wrote it, she was under 30, does that count??"

Since the author DID write the book before she was thirty, I will allow that :)

message 32: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (sarahforsman_) Ok cool thank you!

message 33: by BLT (new)

BLT Sarah wrote: "The author is over 30 now but when she wrote it, she was under 30, does that count??"

Yes I will!

I have some convenient news for you guys-- Cinder is the group read, so if you post status updates/give opinions on the book the 10th and after, you can get an extra point for reading the book (it counts as a buddy read).

message 35: by BLT (new)

BLT Yay! Thanks :)

message 36: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (sarahforsman_) Is it ok if I already started the book?

message 37: by Madelyn (new)

Sarah wrote: "Is it ok if I already started the book?"

Yes, that's fine. When you finish, you will get the one point as stated earlier if you don't participate in a group read.

message 38: by ~ Giulia ~ (new)

~ Giulia ~ I'll do the scary book

message 39: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (sarahforsman_) Almost done Cinder, I will do a book with a blue cover. The book I'm using for that will be All The Bright Places

message 40: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (sarahforsman_) So I'm going to be finishing To Kill A Mockingbird this week and was wondering what would be a good space for this book on our board that we are using? Also hope to finish Cinder

message 41: by ~ Giulia ~ (last edited Apr 25, 2016 12:30PM) (new)

~ Giulia ~ description

I'll try to keep the image updated :)

we get a bingo with Cinder as a book written by someone under 30.
I haven't read To Kill A Mockingbird, can it be a book with a mystery? Or it could be a book that became a movie

message 42: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (sarahforsman_) Ok I drew the board out awhile ago and keep updating it, I'll prob do To Kill A Mockingbird for book made into a movie.
