It was terrible he was so blinded by love that he didn't realize Mare felt the same. He's like a brother type friend. And you can't really fall in love with someone you think of as a brother. I hope he finds love. He was such a kind loving character.

I hope he doesn't die. He's been through a lot.

Everyone has been through a lot. I think he hasn’t been through enough. He hasn’t done enough or seen enough to be done with life. That of course would make it even sadder. Killing him at the peak or his character arc.
