Jonathan | 17 comments I am currently about 120 pages into the first Mistborn novel (and absolutely loving it). Is there anyone else currently reading Mistborn? If so, any interest in a buddy read of the entire Mistborn series, with the goal of getting through a Mistborn novel each month? Let me know!
Happy Monday ;)

James Tivendale (youandi) Hi,

I recently finished the 1st Empire and would be happy to buddy up with you when you finish and carry on with the next novels. Peace x

Jenna Kathleen (jennakathleen) I read the series a year or two ago so I won't read along, but I'll pop in and chat when you both get going :)

Jonathan | 17 comments Sounds good. I am hoping to be through the first novel in the next week or so (just depends on my work schedule)

Jonathan | 17 comments Working my way through part 2 and I am definitely hooked. I want to know more about Kelsier's past - he always appears to be in total control. Also, it seems like Vin is going to be one badass character once she gains some confidence!

If you want to read about Kelsier's past then read this short story.
The Eleventh Metal. You can read this 14 page story free(legal) at http://brandonsanderson.com/shardhunt.... In this, Kelsier does not seem to be in 'Total Control'.
And yes, Vin is going to become super badass.

Jonathan | 17 comments Thanks, Palash.

Just finished the novel today, and was completely blown away by the conclusion. Cannot wait to read the next book in the trilogy.
