How would you feel if someone/something had a record of everything you said and did (i.e. video, audio, and any online communication)?

Emily Soto | 6 comments If someone was recording everything I said and did I would feel like someone violated my privacy. I would also feel awkward and uncomfortable, since I would wonder what the other person sees in me because I don't really do anything.

Mohamedhadi Somji | 7 comments I suppose it depends on whether the person/thing holding the information is is in any way capable of judgment. For instance, if it is a sentient human being, I would definitely be uncomfortable with it. However, if it was just a storage center that had no thought processes of its own that no one had access to, it might not be such a problem. I do not think that such a scenario can actually exist in the real world though because if there is a data cash somewhere, someone can and will eventually get it.

Maddie_H (goodreadscomSUPREME_TACO_RESCUE) Well I wouldn't like that cause then everything I did/said would eventually be used against me and even people i know! And it would be slightly awkward/unnerving knowing that someone knew everything about me.

Antonella | 1 comments There should be limits to what is recorded. If it is needed to keep someone safe, then certain things should be recorded. However, if it is not needed then it should not be recorded.

Kimberly Graham | 2 comments There would definitely be some boundaries that are crossed. The Constitution guarantees a right to privacy and I don't think those rights should be taken away. In fact, I recently heard a senior thesis detailing how the NSA violates some of our constitutional rights as Americans. I would definitely be afraid if everything I say and did was recorded. After all, everyone has bad days and difficult moments. I don't want to remember those days for the rest of my life. The only perk to having everything recorded would in fact be those precious memories that you wish you could recreate but instead could watch because of the recording.

I feel the same way! It would be very uncomfortable and I really wouldn't understand why they would record EVERYTHING. It just doesn't make sense to me.
