Also, another tidbit:
In the Greek myths, Pegasus actually had a mate and two foals. His mate was named Euippe (Or Ocyrrhoe) and their foals were named Celeris and Melanippe.

Hm, yeah seriously I had no idea Pegasus had a mate or two foals! But great idea on making the group because there's a lot of random information about the book and the characters I'll find on the web, and they are just fun facts about it that's interesting.

Yeah, that's one reason why I created the group. But the other, more important reason was because I wanted to create a group where fans like me could meet and talk about Pegasus, and I'm glad to see how many members we have now, and how many more we'll get in the future. ;)

I once typed "Paelen" in the search box, and all that came up were links regarding the "Pegasus" series, except to the Answers.com one.

1. Paelen is the son of Mercury. He is also the Roman God of Thieves. The myth goes that when Paelen was born, while sleeping in his crib, he got up and took Mercury's winged helmet. When Mercury found out he proudly proclaimed Paelen the God of Thieves. But, that is only in the Roman myths, Paelen doesn't appear in the Greek myths.

2. The way you pronounce Paelen is Pay-lee-en. Not that way I thought it was pronounced!

3. I'm sure everyone knows this by now, but if you don't then it's a tidbit! Pegasus and the End of Olympus (Pegasus #6) is going to have a HUGE surprise at the end, I hope it isn't a cliffhanger!

4. Another thing you might already know, Kate O'Hearn is thinking about writing a spin-off series to the Pegasus series! As long as her publishers allow her to do it!

5. Yet another thing you might know, is that Kate O'Hearn wrote a Pegasus short story for Hastings Writers' Group in a collection of animal tales called Animal Writes: An Anthology of Animal Tales..
