Here is where we will talk about chapters 11-20

I love Kvothe's parents relationship & was so sad to hear of their death, but now that I think of it I don't remember him saying he saw their bodies. I feel so sorry for Kvothes childhood after his parents death. Oh and that town Tarbean sounds horrible. I can believe he has to live 3 years there. I'm really enjoying this book. Beautiful writing.

I completely agree his parents relationship was so sweet. I wonder if we find out the whole story behind what I would call the massacre of the troupe. This town sounds hellish, I'm almost not looking forward to the next three years. :(

I did not see this massacre coming! It took me completely by surprise! I was also sad at the loss of Abenthy. I wonder if we will see him again..

This chapters broke my heart completely. Kvothe's parents were so amazing! And my poor little Kvothe, in that awful city all alone. I'm with Kris, I'm not looking forward to more painful things.
