Summer These have been my favorite chapters so far. Things are starting to connect. Things that stand out, Trapis caring for the disabled children, Kvothe catching Pike on fire. Oh & on pg 185 where Kvothe is on the roof top & wants to help that poor boy who is being beat up. His first instinct is to help but rethinks it & doesn't. I think that is a huge moment in his childhood to adult. I didn't enjoy Skarpi story about Lanre/Haliax. But wow the connection between his parents & Haliax. Plus I love what Skarpi said to the justice!

I also loved the part about Tarpis.. I was so relieved when the tying up was explained. I was so afraid he was going to be taken and tied up as well!

I completely agree I feel like everything is starting to come together wonderfully. I can't wait to see how this journey goes for Kvothe.
