Bella walked into her second period class late. She took her normal seat beside Edward who gave her an awkwardly uncomfortable look. What's wrong with him? She muttered under her breathe.

Derek walked into the school and looked around before heading to his first class, he sat in the back of the room, one of the male students made his nose burn, it was quite unpleasant. He sniffed the air and located the scent it was from a teen that looked uncomfortable, he slouched in his chair and looked at the front of the class, ignoring the burning sensation in his nose.

Bella stole a few glances at Edward.

Was it because I fell on him? She wondered. It was common knowledge she tended to be a cluts when it came to physical sports.

Derek started his work, taking notes, and listening to the teacher, he wished he didn't have to go to school, but the state required him to. He looked up and saw the girl looking at the Vampire.

Bella noticed Derek out of the corner of her eye. Edward did as well and crossed his arms. He sat a little straighter. "Hi," Bella said leaning forward, "Thats Edward, I'm Bella," She said with a friendly smile.

"I'm Derek, its nice to meet you Bella" Derek said with a smile, he thought of the name. He was part of the Cullen clan, though they were still Vampires, who deserved to be taken out he ignored Edward entirely.

Bella smiled at him.

Alex sighed as he walked up to his old high school. It had been a couple of years since he last attended but when he did there were a few people, he considered friends, that still attended after he left. He walked towards the front doors and reached for the handle. His hand paused as he took a whiff and his face twisted in disgust. "What are vampires doing here?" He asked himself as he then proceeded into the school.

Bella looked around and saw Alex. "Hmmm...," She thought. He was familiar. Ah that's it, she exclaimed mentally. Jacob had introduced them.

Alex casually walked down the halls with his hands in his pockets. Every once in a while he's glance into a classroom to see if his old friend still attended. Once he reached a certain classroom his face twisted in disgust again as he smelt that familiar scent. "Bloodsuckers..." He then paused as a certain scent caught him off guard. It was a familiar scent but he didn't know whose it was. He walked over to the door and peeked inside.

Derek tilted his head as a flash of recognition flashed across Bella's face, he smiled at her, a small smile but a smile nonetheless, he sniffed the air discreetly and smelled another wolf he looked towards the door, then back at his paper, he could talk to the other wolf later.

Bella looked around. She began biting her pen. She was bored and EdwArd was a pale onion.

Derek leaned forward, thinking of saying something, instead he wrote a note and passed it up. He would be leaving class soon to work on his motorcycle, he also needed to work on his camero. To make sure it ran properly.

Alex sighed then walked away from the room. He then headed out the school not quite successful in finding who he was looking for.

Jacob rode up to the school. He caught sight of his belongings. He chuckled and shut off his motor.

Derek picked up his canvas bag and walked out of class, seeing Alex and Jacob he walked over, his face blank as usual, no smile, no frown nothing just a straight face. He nudged his fellow pack member Alex,

He saw Alex and smirked. He leaned on the handles of his motorcycle

"I see time hasn't done you well Derek," He says with a sarcastic jeer.

Derek quirked a brow at his Alpha, sure he lost his family, but he figured he was doing better then others would in his situation, he remained silent even to his Alpha. He fought the urge to bare his teeth and growl.

Jacob smirks and goggles with the dials on his motor. "What's with you?" He asked with little interest.

Derek shrugged, Jacob should know that he was antisocial, he always had been, however it had gotten worse with the loss of his family. He popped open the hood of his Camaro to see if everything was working right, when he was distracted he replied, "my family died two years ago, and I don't like talking, you know that" Derek said to Jacob.

Jacob scoffs followed by a sneer. "Right," He looks away. "What's with you, pup?" He asks flicking Alex's chest.

Derek growled at Jacob, before getting into his car and driving away from the school and back to La Push.



((Jacob doesn't act that way in the movie or the books, maybe towards Vampires, and maybe Sam but not his pack))

Alex rolled his eyes at his alpha. "What's with you, old man?" He asked practically challenging Jacob.

Jacob chuckled. "You wanna go?" He asked toying with Alex.

((Fwi; i dont remember asking for your opinion skye. Plus hes not an original pack member. He can act how ever he wants to anyone outsids to the pack and new pack members. ))

Alex sighed and looked over Jacob. "You wouldn't but up much of a fight anyway. It'll be practically a waste of time." He said jokingly with a grin plastered on his lips.

Jacob sported a grin, "C'mon!" He said. "Unless your a chicken!" He chuckled. He enjoyed toying with his packmates.

Alex raised an eyebrow at Jacob. "I'm definitely not a chicken. I just don't wanna hurt an old person. You know since their weak." He said with a smile as he chuckled at his own joke.

Jacob was pretty laid back around his pack members so took no offense nor challenge from Alex's commentarial. He looked around. The parking lot was pretty deserted. Student were all in class. "Its basically dead here," He said surveying the scene.

"Yeah...I was actually planning on going for a run today." Alex said as he then stretched his arms. "It's been a while since I've had a good one." He said as he remembered racing some of the other pack members when he first joined the pack.

"Running?" Jacob scoffed placing his helmet on, he idea of psyc activity drained his energy. , "Maybe I am an old man," He closed the helmet screen grinning at Alex.

Alex chuckled at Jacob and then shifted his weight so that he was leaning more on his right foot. "So where are you headed?" He asked, slightly curious.

Home," He replied with a shrug. "Coming?" He asked Alex kicking the stand off the ground he used his feet to balance the machinery beneath him.

"Yeah I guess...You don't mind if go through the woods this time, do you?" Alex asked as he started to get anxious. He could not wait to shift into his wolf and go on a good long run through the woods.

"Knock yourself out," Jacob replied grinning. He revved his engine and gripped the handles.

Alex waved to Jacob as he walked away and headed towards the woods that were behind the school. He didn't care to much about ripping his clothes since he knew there were spares at the house. Once he knew he was a safe distance away he shifted into his wolf and headed towards the house.

Jacob walked back to class and sat at the desk he was previously sitting in before looking at his book, he glanced at Bella then back down at the book, taking more notes. He ignored the burning in his nose since he already knew it was one of the Cullens.
