I picked this book because I saw it on the shelf in the mystery section of Barnes and Nobles. The cover interested me..... I think it was the early 20th century clothes combined with the book being in the mystery section. It was pretty good- the time period was San Francisco about 9 years after the earthquake and fire in 1906. It was a murder mystery with ghosts and the killer was after the protagonist. I liked it OK but I think I'm passing the book on to my teen daughter because I just don't see myself reading it again. It was an easy book to read, I really didn't seriously dedicate myself to the book until yesterday morning and I finished it today. The story flowed well and kept me engaged. It's a great rainy day book for sure (except today wasn't rainy).
