The Longest Ride discussion

I'm going to read this book !!! I'd read "Safe haven" and "The notebook" of Nicholas Sparks. It was extremely good!! Can you guys give me some reviews about it ??? I want to know more about this book before reading it.

I REALLY love the book. After reading "The Best of Me" (which I didn't like one bit due to the ending!), I decided to give this a try since I didn't actually buy the book myself (my mom did). To me, it was a little slow in progressing, but after I got past half of the book I was fine. I truly enjoyed Ira and Ruth's love story and found myself crying towards the end of the book when reading Ira's part of the story. And I'm also glad that Sparks decided to not kill either of the two characters I actually wanted to be together unlike what he did in "The Best of Me." This particular character's death I could understand and get behind wholeheartedly unlike with the other book. Overall I give the book between an 8.7 and 9.3. I only took off because of the fact that it was a bit slow until more than halfway for me. (NOTE: I don't know if you know this, but the book changes perspectives and all between three characters. So if you aren't really into perspectives changing all that much then don't read it.)
