I agree with Ruchi. The book is rather slow until about 2/3 of the way through. But even with the slow progression, I loved it. The ending wasn't a complete happy ending. It was more bittersweet. But I would accept it more than with how the majority of his other books tend to end. Also, just keep in mind if you watch the movie, it is rather different than the book. So don't expect it to be just like the book if you do watch the movie.
