I feel like they are comfortable with each other and know each others strengths and weaknesses. They know their roles in the partnership which makes them work well together.
They seem to be working together well and I am glad Tully is not going to be a romantic interest for Maggie.

I'm wondering if Maggie will get a love interest later in this series. The professor seemed interested in her and they would probably cross paths in his line of work.
It does seem like Maggie and Tully have found their groove. They seem accepting of each other's flaws and respect what the other brings to the job. I was glad to see this as they've had almost a year to get it together. Tully had her back during the investigation and she reached out to him often.

I was thinking maybe Adam and Maggie might "explore" each other more. It's possible he'll show up later as he did save her life. But, it might be that he was used to illustrate her wanting to wait now that she's newly divorced.
