Carolyn | 0 comments what do you do with your books you have read? I prefer to not keep them to collect dust; so have been donating to library book sale as a tax writeoff. I see amazon has and probably other companies a trade in book section. Have you ever tried this? It appears they only take in select few choice books; which makes it maybe a waste of time to check it out; but, wondering about other companies; and if you get a book in return or if it's just garage sale value for the book you send in; it states they send a free shipping postage label.

I have a used book store near me that buys and then you get store credit.

Carolyn | 0 comments Having a father in the nursing home; I don't see anyone reading; but, maybe they have the book in their room; so probably
wouldn't donate there; and have donated to our own church library. we do have a used book store; but, with getting only garage sale book prices; I just as soon donate to library sale.
someone else, suggested trade in books online; so I would have to see if shipping is worthy of that.

Carolyn | 0 comments a good reads member suggested paperback swaps online service; and it can be used without membership. so, I am trying it and finding it easy to use and it is free shipping when someone sends a book to me of my choosing. Good way to keep books from developing dust on the shelves and getting a different book of choice to read instead.
