Random Stuff discussion

This is an opinion debate, and you will not be made fun of or criticized based on your religion or what you believe. I personally believe in ghosts (they prefer the term spirits), since I am a natural born Medium (Long Island Medium on TLC, anybody???) I would like to hear, or read, your responses, as well as any paranormal stories you may have.

From a science perspective ghosts can not exist. what is the definition of ghosts? souls trapped on Earth? for that to happen there would need to be somewhere else for the souls to go to e.g. heaven (but that is a completely different debate) and there would have to be proof of humans having souls. So far humans are controlled by brains and we are yet to discover their souls. I would like to believe that my loved ones still watch over me but I'm not sure I believe in ghosts...

But, however (just an example), scientists don't have physical evidence that black holes exist, yet we know they do. Just because scientists don't know, it doesn't mean that it isn't real.

Fair enough. That is actually a really good point. Day-um. I applaud you Sir (or Lady). I will, from now on, believe that ghosts are plausible until proven otherwise because you are exactly right. Don't let that go to your head...
