An Ember in the Ashes

I just finished this and it was just okay, I thought I would love it more. I actually wish Helena was the MC instead of Laia, anyone else?

I loved this book so so so much. I'm in love with these characters and this world.♥

I finished it today too and I liked it but it seemed really similar to a lot of other books. Totally didn't like the love triangles...

I honestly couldn't get into this one. I really tried but I was really disappointed that this didn't grab me like the hype around it led me to believe it would. I'm gonna put it back in my TBR, and hopefully in the future I can try it again by for right now I'm kinda disappointed :/

I was never interested in this book until I joined this book club. I must say it exceeded my expectations. It was really good even if I had some problems with it (i.e. Two love triangles???) and I'll definitely pick up the sequel.

I think it's more of a love hexagon LOL! But yeah this book was rough for me at first I almost gave up but wow I am glad I kept going this book is so so good. Well at least the last 75 % of it(:
